2. The importance of sucrose interferences depends on the amount of proteins in the sample. For protein content of about 50 gig the determination can be made directly, whatever the sucrose concentration may be. Far larger protein amounts the interferences become more and more important with increasing ~ucrose levels. So it becomes indispensable to dilute the solution in order to lower the sucrose concentration below 10 yo.
